Reserve sites ahead through the campground's reservation system; some loops may hold first-come sites.
Fees:
- To prevent theft we are now a cashless park.
- Use the Recreation.gov Mobile App to pay the nightly camping fee when you arrive at the campground site. Prior to arriving at the campground download the Recreation.gov App to your mobile device and create a Recreation.gov account.
- You may also pay the $20/night fee at the "iron rangers" with your credit card information, with the ranger (intermittent staffing) or at the White River Entrance fee station on your way out.
Best Time to Visit
This campground is good much of the year. Spring and fall bring mild weather and thinner crowds, while summer is busiest — book ahead or arrive early in the warm months.

Reserve early for summer weekends and holidays, or arrive midday on a weekday for first-come sites. Bring layers, a headlamp, and your own water if potability isn't confirmed, and double-check the rig-length and hookup situation before towing in.
